Canggu in Bali has so much to offer families with kids. Finns Recreation Club is the place to go to keep them entertained and Finns include Splash, Bounce, Strike Bowling and the Cubbyhouse Kids Club.
Bali Villa Escapes offer great villas in Australian dollars so the rate is better for Australians than villas in USD. They have an office in Sydney which you can go through if you are daunted about booking a villa in Bali.
Canggu is quite spread out and even though a villa can look close to Seminyak on the map the traffic can be bad! So it’s important to think about what you want from your holiday, if you wish to explore Canggu and the west coast of Bali staying further out will be OK. If you also want to enjoy all that Seminyak has to offer think about staying in villas closer to the border of Canggu and Seminyak around the Batu Belig area.
Below is a list of Bali Villa Escapes’ Canggu family villas that we would choose to book for our family. On our list of must-haves is a pool that can be fenced or comes with a fence, ideally no stairs or the option of a stair gate, preference for air-conditioned enclosed living spaces and bedrooms that are interconnected or under the same roof space so doors to the pool can be locked.
Villa Briana: 2 bedrooms located close to Batu Belig. All on one level however the 2 bedrooms don’t interconnect but might be suitable if you have older kids. The living area is open plan but the pool looks OK to be fenced.
Villa Avalon: 1 bedroom with an enclosed AC living area that can also sleep the kids if need be. All on 1 level with a fenceable pool and located in the centre of Canggu.
Villa Canggu North: 2 bedroom villa with huge enclosed AC living spaces. Not far from Echo Beach this looks like a great villa with young kids. Close to Batu Belig area.
Villa Saba Bima: 2 bedroom villa that is all on 1 level and has an AC dining and kitchen area that is enclosed. The AC bedrooms and dining area appear all to be enclosed so suitable with adventurous toddlers.
Villa Saba Yudhistira: 2 bedroom villa well suited with toddlers as all on 1 level with enclosed dining space. The living spaces and bedrooms are all under one roof and doors separate from the pool.
Villa Saba Nakula and Villa Saba Sadewa: 2 bedroom villas with open living spaces but all on 1 level. Bedrooms are not interconnected so perhaps suited to older kids or babies.
Villa Waha: 4-bedroom villa that looks amazing! The bedrooms both downstairs and upstairs are interconnected with 4 bunk beds in the ground floor bedroom. The living area is open but there is also a media room with AC if the kids need to chill out and watch a movie from the Bali heat.
Villa Bon Bon: 4 bedrooms with all the bedrooms downstairs. The upstairs bedrooms on the floor plan aren’t for rent so the top area is locked off. The bedrooms aren’t interconnected but the living area is enclosed with AC. Located in central Canggu.
Villa The Maya: 4 bedroom villa that has plenty of space for the kids to run around. 2 bedrooms upstairs and downstairs they don’t interconnect so more suitable for older kids or babies. Living space can be enclosed with AC. Close to Bali Equestrian Centre, in a great central spot.
Villa Sarasvati: 4-bedroom villa with gorgeous grounds and even a tree house for the kids to play in. Maybe sorted to slightly older kids, it’s located close to the Finns Recreation Club too.
