Canggu Family Escapes Villa is so kid focused that it even comes with a permanent wooden pool fence with lockable gate! We enjoyed our 2 night stay on our Bali family holiday in October 2019 at this Canggu family friendly villa.

Canggu Family Escapes Villa Overview

Canggu Family Escapes Villa is located in the Berawa area of Canggu and is close to Canggu Plaza. The 4 bedroom villa has its own Bali name but this is only revealed once you make a booking. This helps to keep the exact location for guests only. It has sooo many family friendly inclusions and is set a short walk off the main road. There is a security booth at the front of the complex of villas that is manned 24/7.

Canggu Family Escapes pool and gardens

The pool is so well set up for families with the permanent wooden pool fence. The fence also has a key that can lock the gate. Mum and Dad can sit in the pool area while the kids are swimming in the pool or sit out on the huge day bed seat (I spent a lot of time relaxing here!) The grass area was perfect for the kids to run around on and the loved the pool toys especially the unicorn!

Canggu Family Escapes Bedrooms

There are 3 huge bedrooms all with their own en-suites and air conditioning. Since we have stayed they have converted the play room into a bedroom with 2 single beds and one of the beds includes a toddler rail. Each of the main bedrooms has storage and a desk plus a baby cot, that had a mosquito net, set up in one of the bedrooms. The villa also now includes a second baby cot making it perfect for 2 families to stay.

None of the bedrooms interconnect but 2 of the bedrooms are side by side. Each bedroom and living area has a key so the rooms can be locked at night or when you go out. The bedrooms had really good block out blinds which is perfect for the kids to not wake up too early! There was also 2 baby monitors in the villa for guests use.

Canggu Family Escapes Living Space

A huge living area with TV, lounges, bean bags for the kids, dining table and full kitchen. More kid friendly things like a high chair, microwave, plastic plates, filtered water and full fridge. There was also a microwavable steriliser if you need for baby bottles. The laundry is located next the kitchen with a washing machine plus drying rack.

The villa housekeeper Yati kept the villa spotless and I was impressed by how thoroughly she cleaned it each day we were there (she doesn’t clean on Sundays as she has the day off)

What is close by to Canggu Family Escapes Villa

There are so many family friendly places close to Canggu Family Escapes Villa. Probably the biggest draw card of the villa is how close it is to Finns Recreation Club where you can find Splash Waterpark, Bounce Trampoline Park and Strike Bowling. Just a short walk to have lots of fun on the water slides. Also around the street is Made’s Warung Berawa that has an outside playground, Shine Kids Club Lounge, Zero Waste store and restaurant. Next to Made’s Warung is Micky’s Mad House where the kids can make pizza and jump on the jumping castle.

Close by is Canggu Plaza and Canggu Station so you can stock up on supplies. Berawa Beach and Finns Beach Club are a 3 minute drive away or a 10 minute walk with the kids. Cafe Del Mar Beach Club is only a 5 minute drive from the villa and the newest beach club to check out. Milk and Madu is our favourite spot for breakfast and an easy walk from the villa.

Staying at Canggu Family Escapes was the perfect ending to our Bali family holiday. Having everything at the villa that was kid focused helped us to really chill out before our flight back to Australia. I must say, we didn’t want to leave!
