Villa Asmara is one of 9 villas that I looked through that are managed by Elite Havens. For bookings or enquiries and more professional looking photos of the villa check out their website Elite Havens Villas They are also on Instagram @elitehavens and Facebook at Elite Havens. If you have any other Bali related questions feel free to contact me on Instagram or Facebook. Would love to hear about other villas that you are interested in 🙂
The entrance to Villa Asmara was beautiful with a high secure gate opening to well kept gardens. Just a short 200m drive from Ombak Laut it shared a tennis court with other surrounding villas. Once through the front door a series of stepping blocks over a pond led to the main living area. Not ideal with toddlers but when I spoke to the manager he said that they were more than happy to put a fence up to block the pond. The steps weren’t too far apart so a stroller could be wheeled out the door. You walked into an open air lounge and dining room that is fan cooled and looked over the gorgeous pool. A great size pool, that could be fenced, a tree for shade and sun loungers on the grassed area.
Villa Asmara has 4 bedrooms plus a media room. The downstairs master bedroom was a great size with a huge bathroom including garden with outdoor shower. The other 2 bedrooms side by side weren’t interconnecting but were both of a good size with plenty of room for a portacot in each. Charlotte’s favourite part was the upstairs pool and media room. This was next to the upstairs main bedroom which had a great view over the pool area and to the beach. The media room was enclosed and had AC to escape from the heat. Outside the master bedroom the area was surrounded by a high glass barrier so would be quite secure with young kids if a stair gate was used.

Villa Asmara would be a great option with young kids if you were wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of Seminyak. The staff were lovely and more than happy to help young families make their stay wonderful. Even though there were no interconnecting rooms the bedrooms were of a big enough size to fit a portacot or rollaway bed in for the kids. The pool and front entrance would need to be fenced to make it toddler safe. The villa has a lovely Balinese feel to it, not ultra modern but well lived in with beautiful gardens. The price is very reasonable for all the inclusions that Elite Havens provides and it is on our families list of places to stay!!

I was approached by Elite Havens to come and inspect some of their beautiful villas and for me to write about them on my blog. Other than being provided with lunch and a driver to take us around the villas I received no payments or freebies! All thoughts here are my own 🙂
