Villa Malaathina was one of 9 villas that I looked through that are managed by Elite Havens. For bookings or enquiries and more professional looking photos of Villa Malaathina check out their website Elite Havens Villas They are also on Instagram @elitehavens and Facebook at Elite Havens. If you have any other Bali related questions feel free to contact me on Instagram or Facebook. Would love to hear about other villas that you are interested in 🙂

As we walked through the front door of Villa Malaathina we were lost for words! Located in Umalas only a short drive to the Petitenget area the gardens were spectacular and the 25m pool a welcome sight in the heat. With 7 bedrooms, media room, yoga space, teppanyaki pavilion, gym and coffee shop with library this villa has it all! My only problem would be I would never want to leave 😉 Upstairs in the front villa there was 2 king bedrooms that could fit our whole family in them! Beautiful views over the surrounding rice paddies and stunning modern fit out this villa is straight out of a design magazine. Downstairs to the kitchen, indoor dining and lounge area, there was plenty of spots to escape the heat. The media room was well set up for kids and perfectly positioned near the teppanyaki pavilion that the adults would love.

The pool was a perfect temperature and we were lucky enough to have a swim before lunch. Great shallow areas for kids and long enough for the adults to do a few laps. The poolside bedrooms were perfect for families with young kids with the side by side bedrooms having an interconnecting door to make it one big family suite. The other bedrooms looked out on to the gardens with plenty of room for portacots if needed. At the back of the property was a huge fully equipped gym and upstairs yoga space. But perhaps my favourite room of the whole place was the huge library with coffee bar and TV 😉

We were lucky enough to be provided with lunch and the food was delicious. Starting with a salad followed by chicken and vegetables then finishing with a fruit platter, the food was well and truly restaurant quality. The staff were fabulous and so welcoming, the hour that we spent relaxing there went way too quick!

We had the most wonderful time at Villa Malaathina and didn’t want to leave. This would be a fabulous place to take the extended family and friends for the most relaxing and indulgent holiday. Also a great spot to hold a wedding or party, very high on the list for my 40th birthday, who’s joining me 😉 This villa is also very appealing because of the 18 staff that are available to help look after all your needs. Just might make it very hard to leave!! A very child friendly option for all ages if stair gates are used to prevent toddlers from accessing the upstairs terrace area. The pool can have a fence erected and there are no ponds to worry about with the villa grounds fully fenced.

I was approached by Elite Havens to come and inspect their beautiful villas and for me to write about them on my blog. Other than being provided with lunch and a driver to take us around the villas I received no payments or freebies! All thoughts here are my own 🙂
