Grand Mirage Bali Overview

Grand Mirage Resort & Thalasso Bali is located just 20 minutes from Bali’s airport in Tanjung Benoa. It is an area known for watersports and is a great spot to witness those beautiful Bali sunrises. The Grand Mirage Bali is split into 2 wings. The original wing is known as the main wing and the family wing was built in 2017. Each wing has its own entrance and check-in counter, this is important when arriving and informing your driver which wing you need to go to.

Check out our video below of The Grand Mirage Resort Main Wing.

All-Inclusive Grand Mirage Resort

One of the great things about The Grand Mirage Resort is you can choose to go All-Inclusive. A great way to not worry about having to deal with a large bill at check out for food, drinks, and activities at the resort. Laundry is also included!

The current prices in February 2024 are Adult $85USD and Child $45USD. Please note for the prices children are 4-11 years old, and 12 years and above are adults. Kids under 4 are free.

The kids loved that room service was included! They were fascinated they could order anything 😉 Drinks are not included but the all-inclusive includes a daily restock of the fridge with soft drinks and water. If you want you can stock the fridge up with drinks from the mini-mart across the road.

A question I often get asked is the All-Inclusive package value for money? For Australians and New Zealanders, this can be tricky because the prices are in USD. When the exchange improves it can be better value. Traveling with kids under 4 the package becomes great value as you only have to pay for the adults.

If you are traveling with teenagers it adds up very quickly. But if you are planning to stay at the resort to eat, drink, and use the resort facilities during your stay, it can be a great way to relax and have fun knowing everything is included.

If you find that you break the armband during your stay the reception was great about replacing it. Also if you or your child finds it difficult to wear the armband, you can just carry it with you when ordering food/drinks etc.

Final Thoughts on The Grand Mirage Resort

We always enjoy our stays at The Grand Mirage Resort in Tanjung Benoa. There is so much to do, the whole family loves it as they are always entertained!

Which wing would our family choose to stay in after we have stayed in both? Now the kids are over 10 years of age we choose the Main Wing, when the kids are younger it is probably easier at the Family Wing. And let’s be honest, when the kids are younger the holidays are all about entertaining the kids 😉

    Hi Kate,

Thanks for your very informative blogs. We’re a family of four with two very active boys aged 9 and 11 who love soccer and water slides. Looking for a resort with water slides so deciding between Hard Rock and Grand Mirage. Would love your thoughts on which you think?

    Thanks

Hi Andy, Thank you for your kind words 🙂 They are both great resorts but in different locations. I would choose a room that I wanted to stay in at either resort and check the total price. If they both are under your budget then you could consider if you want easy access to water sports (Grand Mirage) or easy access to lots of shops and restaurants (Hard Rock). Thanks Kate

Hi Kate, I was wondering if you happened to use a wise card and more specifically at the grand mirage hotel? We are planning to pay our accommodation with it but looking to see if anyone’s actually used it there. Thank you
